An admittedly very B-grade movie from ages ago, but once again Hollywood just rehashing old ideas. Its the principle damnit!

Jesus Christ, this is "The Running Man" all over again!!! I like Statham, but he hasn't done anything cool since Snatch. Haha, I just looked and saw he has Transporter 3 coming out and "The Brazillian Job" to round out the series after "The Italian Job" and "The Bank Job."
He's a walking franchise!

Yes they want to re-make that classic, and they want to do it just as good as they did King's The Shining for TV re-make. Your screwed :(

Not true. Id dig for specific examples, but THIS is much easier.
Theyre remaking old ideas because they know remakes are hot these days and are guaranteed to rake in a certain amount of nostalgia related revenue.
