No that's what is understood by anyone who has studied the Iranian government for longer than 5 seconds.
Vladimir Putin has done a fantastic job at creating a quasi totalitarian democracy, taking what we're reaching in the United States a little further.
Ahmadinejad harbors an extreme hatred of homosexuality and said there are no gay people in Iran.
Those two reasons alone should be enough for any sane person to discount them from a list of "favorite" politicians, unless of course, you think those are great legacy points...
And otec, it is really funny that you blanket any differing opinion to your own as the result of some American being brainwashed by Fox News. Especially one of the most well researched, progressive and forward thinking members of this forum. Not all of us eat up the Fox bull and many of us have been fighting against it for years, so it would be nice to get a little appreciation of that fact from people in other countries. I don't know where you get your news and information from but it hardly seems superior given the complete idiocy you've demonstrated so far here. |

I heard that Popes dont like homosexuality either.. now thats just STUPID and as RETARDED.
This extreme hatred of homosexuality and saiying there will be no gay people in Catholic society, alone should be enough for any sane person to discount them to a list of terrorists, unless of course, you think those are great legacy points... |

I've not read enough on Chavez to make an informed opinion as to how bad he can be, but from what I've seen he really does nothing that is in any way worse than what our own government does. (ignore the french flag for a minute :p )
He has done a lot for his country too, really raised the standard of living and quality of life for a lot of people. You could argue Putin has as well, but he did it using far different methods. |
