Ahmadinejad during his tenure has:
1. Moved 90% of its country oil sales from USD to Euro, which has been one of the factor behind recent rising Euro price and falling dollar.. US sanctioned Iran, but Iran has caused equal damage to US commercially by this sanction.
2. After Iran's policy of moving from USD to Euro, many countries like Russia, India has China has started to maintain their foreign exchange reserve in Euro and have been thinking of permenantly moving to Euro to maintain their FX Reserves.. the very fundamental that USD is an international currency has been threatened and Iran has played a good role in lobbying this issue. Iran has succesfully caused US a lot of loss, both commercially and politically.
3. Democracy is an opposition party challanges the policy of ruling party, currently US is ruling the world and their is no democracy, US invades, occupies countries it want to.. US Sanctions countries it wants to.. US bully other countries to sanction its enemies too.. but Ahmadinejad has chalanged this rule of US, Iran has questioned and asked UN inspectors to be sent to Israel for nuclear weaponization inspection, before they eneter Iran, Iran has challanged lot many irrational US policies (for which you have to do a search on hardcoretrancer's posts in PDD) in many other ways in past.. so in a way Iran might not be exactly a democratic country, but Iran has brought Democracy to this world which is missing right now.
And than I will repeat it again: your sole reason according to your posts for 'hating' Ahmadinejad is because of his opinion on Gays..? man you really very stupid and I mean it..

| From what I've heard from Iranians, they don't like Ahmedinejad much eigther, kind of like how most Americans don't like Bush eigther. Somehow both idiots manage to be in charge of national affairs. Human stupidity and weakness can be truly mind bogling, go figure. |

Look, its cool that you think having completely backward views on homosexuality is not a big deal, I don't. That is a strike for me. I would not give praise to anyone, politician or otherwise, who holds those types of views.

Does is look like I am writing a Thesis Reasearch paper for my PHD in Political Science in NYU?
I was just telling Clovis how stupid he is to come into this thread and tell people to hate Ahmadinejad as a politician because Ahmadinejad has not so good opinion on gays and homosexuality. |
