Underworld to headline Summadayze - Jan 1st 2009
It may still be winter but Melbourne is about to heat up with the announcement that world renowned dance outfit, Underworld, are heading up this years Summadayze festival tour.

UNDERWORLD (UK)
Underworld are amongst the undisputed kings of the dance world. Since their formation 27 years ago - and 15 years since the limited release of debut single ‘Mother Earth’ / ‘The Hump’ - Rick Smith and Karl Hyde remain an innovative presence in UK music.
As true pioneers of live stage and working with their friends at Tomato (the visual arts titans), Underworld shows are so much more than a gig - the duo can rightly claim to be the Godfathers of modern dance music.
With fifth studio album, ‘Oblivion With Bells’ out in October of last year, Underworld reiterated their continued relevance, again collecting critical acclaim across the board with Mixmag stating that the album confirmed that "the spirit of acid house still courses through Underworlds veins".
