Simply post which essential mix so far in 08 is your favorite. Mine has gotta be a tie between Sebastien Leger and Matthew Dear.

The best Essential Mix for 2008 so far was the 19 April 2008 one, with Judge Jules and Barry Connell recorded live from "Inside Out" in Glasgow - one of the best Essential Mixes I've ever heard!

I thought the Matthew Dear one was pretty horrible, Sebastien Leger one was average, the second hour is pretty nice.

My top two would be first Hernan Cattaneo and then Adam Freeland close behind. Overall most of the EMs this year have been pretty disappointing.

Dirty South wasn't bad, but I think the live Barry Connell one was pumping

the one I've listened to the most in 08 has been by far Hot Chip's from december 29th 07

i liked Leger, Shlomi Aber and Hernan and Freeland. I like Matthew Dear / Audion but his EM was boring

I thought the Mathew Dear EM was pretty boring too, Hernans was the best for me thus far.

they've mainly been ghastly. this is due to following fad producers like deadmau5 coming up, leger, richard durand, MSTRKRFT & Dirty South. The best one for variation & something different would be Herve & Sinden's from i think february. It wasn't amazing itself, but more fun than most of the others who take themselves way too seriously.

Hernan's would have been flawless if it wasn't for that poorly remixed "Chemical Brothers - The Test"......

Still an amazing set, though. Also enjoyed Freeland's EM.

Matthew Dear's was pretty good.
