The kitties are now in fact dead... she unintentionally fell asleep on top of them and they died x_x
The problem now is... she still thinks they are alive O-o

For God's sake...I hope you are ready for this next time. Do some googling and find out how to care for a mom and her newborns. You are supposed to put them in a quiet and dim place like a bathroom or closet, and LOCK them in there so the mom can't leave them. If you don't do this, you should at least place the babies on top of a heating pad on the low setting so they don't freeze to death (their fur coat isn't developed, and they can die of cold even if it's 70 degrees...They have no way to keep their body heat in.) The mom didn't kill them by laying on them. That is what she's supposed to do..She just did it too late because she out was wandering around your house all day. The babies lost all of their body heat and froze to death.
When she finally did the proper thing and covered them up, it was too late. |

| You should start your cat off with a puppy, because she's obviously not ready for children of her own. If she does ok with the puppy then maybe having kids is the next step. |
