The scene in montreal just lost one of the most genuine people it had in its ranks. He will be missed.

| I got the chance to see him open for Dusty Kid a while back. Really impressed me that night and I was happy to discover someone who was pushing our scene forward. Like Paskal said "Notre petite scène perd un gros morceau....". |

from canada.com:
Recent cases involving drivers leaving the scene of an accident where someone died have resulted in jail sentences ranging from two to four years, Giroux said.
He believes three to five years of jail time is sufficient for this type of crime.
"The purpose of the sentence is obviously to punish, but it's also to give the chance for anyone who committed a crime to rehabilitate himself," Giroux said.
He said Quebec generally has softer sentences than the rest of the country.
"That's the type of people we are. We are compassionate, forgiving people. It's our way of life." He said that compassion shouldn't translate into accepting that a person leave the scene of an accident.

that is ing horse. the more i read about this online the more angry i get. What happened was a minimum of hit and run, assault with a deadly weapon, and manslaughter. quebec needs to make tougher laws against this kind of stuff. there is a such thing as being too compassionate. if this guy does not do serious jail time i will lose whatever little piece of respect i have left for quebec. this mother****** dragged his scooter 1km. Francois did nothing to deserve this and they are writing about it like its some kind of minor thing. not sure what the tv stations are saying as thankfully im not in quebec right now.
DO NOT FEEL BAD FOR THE DRIVER OF THIS VEHICLE. HE IS A MURDERER! |

accidents happen yes...but when you run it is no longer an accident imo.
Tragedies like this need to bring some good out of them by helping change the laws and preventing this further. You might not choose to hit someone, but you choose to run. That in the least should be considered as manslaughter. |

| Its because the guy has money! Hes a club owner right? Money can get you out of anything. I never had any respect for government and police or any of this. I support more the hells angels than any government! |

lets not get carried away here nacht. not sure if you were around when aria security used to have to wear bullett proof vest cause hells angels would fire into the lineups?
all im saying is that the quebecer police force is a bunch of pussies and the laws in quebec are more to protect criminals than victims.
it is possible to stay liberal on drugs and party offenses that dont hurt people, but to give tough punishments to people who have no regard for others. |
