Confessions of the Video Game Variety

Simple as the subject name.

There has yet to be an RTS game that has grabbed my attention for longer than a few hours. I didn't even get that far into the Starcraft campaign and just got bored about halfway through Red Alert 2. I wish I could get into them, though. So many games look so grand!

I hate installing games on the PC.
I bought HL2 on day 1, didn't install+play until a week later.
I bought Doom3 on day 1, didn't install+play until 2 weeks later.
I think Joint Operations didn't get played for a month.
I have a fair mess of unopened $<$5 bargain bin games that I just can't get around to installing.
inconspicuous
I do all the mini games & side quests so I can play the rest of the game with an unfairly powerful character. [I'm on hour 35 of Mass Effect atm.]
CONNERMAN2000
I haven't actually legitimately completed a video game since 2001 (GTA 3)

Dragon Force on the Sega Saturn could be the best video game ever made, depending on what mood I'm in.

I hate MMORPG's.

Try World in Conflict multiplayer. It's a pickup and play game.. No need to waste countless minutes doing stupid stuff like building bases and mining for resources, etc. Just drop your units at the right point, communicate with your team, and its WAR baby WAR!

Project-K
I simply cannot bring myself to play a game in multiplayer unless I have fully completed the single player campaign first.
BTG
i hate japanese games.
Moongoose
I have never completed a GTA game without using cheats.

I think Half Life 2 is one of the most overrated games ever made.

I think steam is big steaming pile of puppy poo.

I have only enjoyed multiplayer in 3 titles: X-wing vs Tie Fighter, Dark forces 2: Jedi knight, Live for speed. With a possible exception of UT1 and Jedi Knight i think every other multioplayer game sucks ass.
Rodrico
Me and my buddy are addicted to the Dynasty Warrior series.

I often have this one as well... RTS's being an exception.

BORING. very little skill (oooh, attack this rock with my paper!) good for noobs like capitalist.

my confession: ive probably spent about $15,000 on consoles, PCs and games.
saluyamo
I've never played a final fantesy game
I thought WoW was the greatest game ever made (until they killed world pvp)
I was to much of a sissie to play on a pvp server.
I dont like playing as a rogue and ambushing people for 4k but snipering with my hunter is fine.
The Mafia and conker Bad fur day endings kept me wake that night
The Castle map in Duke nukem creeped me out
I feel like playing DN now
Oblivion sucked (the same way crysis does)
I'm crap at fps's online (apart from HL2DM, which I'm just avg)
