"Where's Your Head At" - Basement Jaxx
"Born Slippy" - Underworld
"Go" - Moby
"Thousand" = Moby
"Everyday It's 1989" - Moby (I think. I recognized at least on song from his new album, I think it was this one) |

I'd say the magnetism from the system in the mainstage was causing issues...
I had to run like hell to get out of there when I got texted for interviews :p
However, right next to the stage had decent reception. |
Naw.. i think its more overload for the phone providers. Imagine all those kids texting "where you at" at the same time. I had 4 bars inside the mainstage area but it still took forever to send texts. |

We got there at 9, and walked straight in... no line at all.
CL put me to sleep
Bennny blew chuncks! What happened to his hard ass beats? Oh i know
MOBY took them... he was bad ass... ripping baselines hot hot hot!!!
PVD ... meh. (then again it was the 9th time i have seen him)
Sound system sucked ballz. You could not even feel the base in the Cabannas. I mean don't get me wron, like Josh said earlier, it was one of the better VIP's but you couldn't feel the music, and thats what I was there for.
I thought Moby was the best by far, However that being said he was the only DJ that we were right infront of the stage for, the rest was spent looking for people, and hangin out in the cabannas with friends.
stairs... stairs |

Hey, I had plenty of bars myself :P
But if I would waltz out to the DnB stage and send texts, I'd get responses rather quickly. |

moby also dropped
rubber man (mike dyson remix) - jude sebastian
the stars - moby
infinity 2008 (klaas remix) - guru josh project
and he played almost every song from his beatport chart up from this week. lol
moby was the surprise of the night for me and was the 2 best hours of the night, but i also think benny sucking arse beforehand made moby sound twice as good. |

Moby - killed it the entire set! My first time seeing him - wow. Made me miss BT's set.
D Ramirez - awesome as usual
Eddie H - great stuff.
Harry choo choo R - great house, sorry I left his set early to see weak ass PVD.
Benassi - didn't play as well as he did at Nocturnal, so not impressive.
Rabbit - made me feel horrible for leaving D Ramirez, big mistake.
PVD - made the sound system sound ty. I've seen PVD close to 15 times now... two of those sets were epic, but the rest of 'em were forgettable. Overrated. |

Moby was ing awesome. He totally made EDC for me. As I was saying, leave it to someone like Moby to remind us all where we came from.
PVD bored me to death as he has done lately. We left. It most certainly was not the hardest I have heard him play. His 2003 giant afterhours show was much harder and his 2005 Mayan show was WAY harder. PVD has totally lost it IMO. His music is too fluffy and pretty these days. Dont think ill be going out of my way to see him anymore until he gets his act together. |
