Yeah totally. I think he can do it too. He has a strong serve and he is quick on his feet. I remember seeing him a few years ago and was like, wow this guy is going to be strong in a year or two! |

Oh and yes the Nadal - Federer final would be great. |
it is fantastic to both play and watch. the best thing about it though is that it is a life long sport. i had a coach in college who was like 70 years old and although i was younger and faster he had such great touch on the ball and control that he could run us around like crazy people. haven't played in months though and i've got the itch to pick up my racket again this summer. |

Yeah, I do find it fantastic to watch. I have never played though. Football (soccer) is my first love sports wise. I want to get back into it. I am going to find an adult league soon enough and start playing again. I miss it a lot. Especially lately with the Euro 2008 and all the games that I have been watching. But yeah, it is a fantastic sport. :) |

it is never too late to learn! buy yourself a cheap racquet find someone who just wants to hit around or if desperate do what i used to do before my classes last year which is hit against a wall to work on your form. find an adult class to take at a local community college too if need be. once you know the basics you can build around that by just working on stuff yourself. i used to go to a local court and serve by myself for an hour or so at a time. it is very relaxing. i admit i'm lucky that my brother and sister along with two close friends were always willing to go out and hit with me.
i'm picking up soccer so you should pick up tennis! |

when are you "too old" to be a ball boy? also having worked a bunch of sporting events there is a point where you just want to be a fan...i admit i haven't worked an event in about a year and it makes me very happy. |

until my knees and shoulders get shredded. if i ever get to work a men's final, the retiring thing is a little easier. |

you try kneeling at the nets for 2-3 hours at a time then getting up to run full speed
as for the shoulder, the us open is the only one of the four major tournaments where the balls are thrown the length of the court. the aussie, french, and wimbledon all roll the balls. it's tough throwing a weightless object about 100-120 feet depending on the court. |
