| i just worry the rain delay has given roger time to relax and he'll come and take the third which he is close to taking anyway. he'll have all the momentum and win his 6th title :nervous: |

the rain delay benefitted roger more, because we could clearly see nadal's legs were getting cold.
what i am afraid of is if this match goes 5 sets, there may be the possibility of pushing the match to tomorrow? last time i remember that happening was that classic goran ivanivic-patrick rafter final in 2001. |

oh i remember that match unfortunate for rafter but great victory for ivanisevic...as for a 5th yeah it's getting late so i hope this ends soon. this will go to a tie break |

you try kneeling at the nets for 2-3 hours at a time then getting up to run full speed
as for the shoulder, the us open is the only one of the four major tournaments where the balls are thrown the length of the court. the aussie, french, and wimbledon all roll the balls. it's tough throwing a weightless object about 100-120 feet depending on the court. | grow some muscles you :tongue2 |

classic 4th set there.
this is by far federer's toughest final.
with federer winning the 4th, chances are leaning towards federer winning the 5th. emotion usually carries over. |

best match I've seen on TV since Sampras-Agassi in the 2001 US Open
(sadly missed Wimbeldon last year because of GMAT cramming) |

| like earlier when federer had break point on nadal, nadal would up an extra notch ..... when nadal had federer at championship point, federer kicked up his extra serious game. |
