Well, she wasn't really my girlfriend then, I should have pointed that out :p
After that, when I realised she really cared for me and she had to introduce me to a friend of hers and didn't know what to say, then I stepped up and said she was my girlfriend. |

let me just reiterate that all i said was "MIGHT have an SO soon" once again i'm just saying that buying him clothes, cologne, whatever is something that i would consider a "girlfriend" maneuver, and lira the example you made only solidifies my point because in the end you ended up dating her
again, there's nothing wrong with being excited about someone new in your life and making a thread about it haha :p |

yea but i'm moving later this year... it would be really silly to get wrapped up in anyone right now in florida. i am keeping that in mind. i also dont wanna sit home every weekend though so i threw myself in the dating scene.
i had dinner with my ex last night so i'm not like completely wrapped up in this guy. i like being able to do what i want. |

Personally, I don't like it when girls buy me clothes without my presence to try it on and make sure I like it. However, I feel I have a decent style so if a girl went and got something because she didn't feel I did, I'd be really insulted.
I guess you did the right thing, the texting was key so good that you got his buy-in right away. lol so what did he say when you answered back "yes" to his question about pants and shoes?
And DEFINITELY he will take this as a "serious relationship" gesture, no matter HOW you put it. I hope things work out. |
