even though my parents dont' just give me anything for free... i certainly get a good family discount, with rent, car, insurance, free food, 1/2 price internet.

i'm greatful.

no trust funds, but my parents always did their best to help me while they could. my parents (dad especially) brought me up to have a very strong entrepreneurial spirit

i've always been really independent though - i started doing freelance design in seventh grade lol. i've always worked my ass of to get what i want

im self supporting now, but most of the people around me are definitely not

i get a half a mil when my dad dies lol that's about as "trust fund" as i get.

when i think of trust fund kids, i think of paris hilton. this thread should be called "spoiled and proud alliance"

When I did Phish tour back in the day, we used to use the terms "East Coast Kid" and "Trustifarian" almost interchangeably. :p

my dad was updating his will recently and called me to ask my ss# and i was like, "so uh...u have any terminal illnesses or anything" lol he was like "very funny"
