Hey folks,

Being realistic if you had a good job that pays good mula, would you throw that away to try and make it in the music industry?

Music is my life is an understatment to me, and if i dont try ill be sitting here in years wishing i had, but then again.... i could try and not succeed...

So what would you do?

Depends on what it is you want to do - you will not make a living in the music industry if you're going to be an EDM producer.

As long as you're still saving a substantial amount of money then sure. Though I wouldn't necessarily throw it into the music industry, I would invest it in music. Slight difference.

Better to try and fail than to spend the rest of your life wondering what might have been..

cliche, but it's true.

And you never know..maybe you won't fail. ;)

You need the job to buy all the drugs that musicians do.
Vivid Boy
no i wouldnt, i havent heard your music but it prolly sucks.

you probably dont have any huge hook ups, so even if you were talented you're probably not going to make it. Stop Day dreaming and start living

I already have a job that pays me well, and no, I'm not willing to throw it away to make it in the music industry.

That doesn't mean I'm opposed to making it in the music industry. It just means I'm not willing to throw away my stability for it. For me, the music comes first, and any recognition/money/whatever for it comes secondary. No harm, no foul.
