Love the videos.

Wish I could go back in time to last night under the moon on the beach by the beats! <3

It's not that bad once you dig a little ditch for yourself. It's just sand. I have a feeling that you don't like wet floors either...

Anyway, it was a beautiful day and night, I spent about a half hour staring at what's now in that photo. Love the new-and-improved venue, I hope they're able to keep doing it there.

Of course I adore techno on the beach (who doesn't?), although I wasn't impressed with how Gregor suddenly dropped the energy level when he came on and took an hour to bring it back up; unprofessional and even amateurish move (apologies to his fans in here). No big deal, I just went and chilled near the lake (AKA ocean) for that bit, but music-wise I was more partial to Nitin's fun[ky] tunes and Jamie Kidd's consistency.

I was also pleasantly surprised that they did away with the standard reggae fare and played some D'n'B instead. I don't think that most people were really feeling it that early on (except Rachel), but hey, it was early; still a welcome change, and it definitely helped set the mood for later.

Final Verdict: Great Success! I'll be anxiously awaiting the next one.

P.S. Anybody get a picture of the hammock rig and/or the dude (attempting to) lie in it? :p

First cherry beach for me and i'd do it again any day with Platform :)

Got there early (too early 4PM). I had nothing else to do in toronto and was sick of wandering around!

The DJ playing at 4pm was playing something very chill, not edm, not my cup of tea. A bit later, a DJ came on that was very Farina like. I really loved it. I was trying to fall asleep on the beach and recover a bit from [email protected] i kept bobbing and groovin while laying down lol.

Later, the DNB stuff really didnt do it for me, and the girl that spun wasnt too bad (just didnt like the first few tracks). She was really cute too.

Nitin was the first to come on from platform and I really enjoyed his set and energy. He has a new fan!

Jamie Kidd was stellar after him. His promo that they handed out is rock solid. It kept me awake on the drive back :) Kidd never disappoints

Gregor, well, was just as expected....a treat! I've been listening to his sets and RA podcast for a while and I love his stuff. Im glad he dropped his remix of a thousand nights, just an amazing track.
At one point, he had a tune with a few drums (Gera, u must remember), Im curious to know what track it was.

Overall im glad I stuck around in TO to witness such a party at Cherry beach. Being with tons of friends brought it up to the next level!
