This is the most read book of Crichton's for me. An _absolute JOY_ to read -- over and over and over again. Think I've read it 6-7 times now (the last being just over 2 years).
And I still cant believe they decided to let themselves "forget" about it in the end. Dumbasses! All that power... GONE! :( :S

AGREED! Classic line indeed!
That's one of those movies I watched over and over as a kid and had no idea who Sammy J was and then I learned to appreciate him through Pulp Fiction etc. It's indescribable the feeling you get when I rewatched Jurassic Park and it was him! |

yeha it was on tv the other night, and i hadnt seen it in sooo long i was like, wtf samuel l jackson is in this . no way, i totally forgot!
and then i started this thread, with that excact quote in mind, but couldnt remember it, so i was like, oh well, hes got a freaking ton. |

tarantino purposefully left it vague for the audience to make their own explanation.

aye. there's a theory that the bandage on the back of his neck was where his soul was taken out as well. |
