Do you listen to your own tracks?

I know - the question sounds kinda dumb at first glance, but I'm curious to know how many of you actually listen to your own tracks on a regular basis purely for listening pleasure. Of course, we all listen for analytical purposes, but I have a few songs that I just really enjoy listening to on a regular basis - does that seem egotistical?

I do enjoy alot to listen to my music :D.
It is nothing wrong with it, is just music ;).

Kopi =o.

Sometimes, yeah.

My tracks aren't as good as I want them to be yet, so they don't get "pleasure listening" anywhere near as often as tracks done by other people, though.

Yeah, all the time.

that's a huge part of why i make music - cuz it's just how i like it! there's nothing like getting goosebumps from your own track :D

I produce music exactly the way I like it so yeah. I guess I'm my own favorite artist. :p

As a general rule, I actually do not listen to my own tracks. At this point I'm not particularly speedy in making music, due to time constraints, so I'm generally pretty sick of my own stuff by the time I actually finish it. I'm not sure why this is, but I suspect it because I have trouble listening to my own stuff objectively. I'm always in "analytical" listening mode. As I get better at producing, this seems to be becoming less of a problem, but I still haven't overcome it at this point.

However, Its seems that this rule also applies to others tracks as well, as if I have heard a track too many times, I won't put it on a mixed CD, no matter how good it is.

I do sometimes go back and listen to my tracks after a few months or so, and its only then that I can listen to it and actually enjoy it (and judge objectively whether it sucks or not).

lately almost only

Yeah I do it all the time. It's music that I've created for myself so I don't see why I shouldn't.

My songs sound really amateur so i don't listen to it that much. I only listen to ones while i am making it and for a week after (not for analytical purposes). Then i am tired of my music. Cybernetica said he makes music the way he likes it, but for me i can't do that yet.
