Roll Call: Rogers Cup Tennis (Mens) @ Rexall Centre (York University) Jul 19-27th

Well, the opening matches of round 1 dont start till Monday the 23rd, but the qualifying matches start next Saturday at the Rexall Centre at York University, so this roll call needs to go up now! ;)
Who is in this year??

Last year I had a surprise Rogers Tennis session w/ Magicboobs and her crazy fantastic mom one evening, and then another whole day spent with Little Komodo!
Will I be seeing any TAs there this year??!! (Sure hope so)
Qualify rounds are Sat and Sunday July 19th and 20th.
The tournament starts Monday July 21 the and runs till Sunday July 27 with the men's finals that day!
Its the men this year for those of you wondering.
Ive booked Mon - Wed off work, so I'll be there morning and night (matinee and evening sessions) for the first three days!
I plan to maybe come down Fri night (not sure yet, depends whos in the 1/4 finals I guess...)
and then likely on Saturday and/or Sunday too again!
Who else is attending this year to see the men in action!? |

I haven't talked to my mom any further about this, so I don't know if we are going or not. Maybe if we can get tix at 30$ again for a Saturday we will. I work during the week now so I can't get the time off work to go any other time.
I can't believe it is starting next week already. |

Only Level 300 is still available for Sat and Sunday (ALL sessions). Rest already sold it!
Its simply AMAZING how much more popular mens tennis is than womens. That didnt happen last year w/ the womens, not even by the thurs before the final when i bought mine!
The tourney is STILL a week away, and alreay the everthing but the 300 and fan zone tickets are sold out!

I think getting 3 seats together would be a great idea. Ok, I have to call my mom this week anyhow, so I will find out from her if she wants to go or not and what day. I am thinking it would potentially be on Saturday if anything else. I work Fridays and am not off work until 5pm.
I will let you know by the end of this week :)
edit: are you talking about this Saturday coming up?? Or are we talking finals Saturday? |

Id rather go sat then sunday prolly for the semis. More going on around the outer courts.
(And saves a bit of money too)
