Loco played on CDs at The Guv back when he played with Cox.
I'm positive he was playing CDs when he played at This is London over a year and a half a go.
Though I'm also pretty sure he was using abelton both those gigs.
His mixing at london and Guv was fine.
wish i made it on the boat... but got too drunk at footwork the night before. I slept until 4pm on sunday! :p |

I think he could have played polka and every girl would still give him an awesome review, lol. |
It's about time we had a male DJ in toronto that was worth objectifying!
And Gregor too...good weekend! |

The John Aquaviva in your signature excites me... too bad I am away. :(
As for Loco... I had so much fun.
Everyone was in a really great mood and having a blast. I think the fact that Loco has just as much fun as the rest of us helps make the party just a little bit crazier. |

(I was at FW and thought his mixing was shady there too, I was only communicating info which was passed along to me) |

k finally got off working on the house and time for a better review along with the afterparty review.
weather was perfect for a cruise and the vibe was awesome. great seeing so many familiar friendly faces which made things so much more welcoming. was slightly hungover from the night before and getting into town at 530am then heading to the boat on maybe 3 hours of sleep doesnt help get the mood going. however once i got there, things turneed around in a jiffy. leaving so late was as said earlier, annoying but once we set off fun times to be had. musically speaking roaches were great for opening. however when loco was setting up his gear and testing things out, it resulted in some issues here and there. nathan b2b with loco (not sure if carlo did either) was great. after that, track selection was enjoyable overall. mixing here and there was off. talked with loco about it and a few others and confirmed that he does not usually use cds. also as proven in the past having gigs the night before and then a boat the next day usually results in some things being off. a few borderline g outs but didnt see anyone go down . a lot of "bouldered" people lol as el ace o and i decided
all in all an awesome time and it looks like it may be my only tdot boatcruise this year so im happy it turned out amazing.\

Reign was decent, took a while to get upstairs. ended up doing a lot of chilling and talking with people. however didnt feel like staying much longer so headed over to zone with prior, barb, and a few others. nathan was playing and the head bopping started again. spent a lot of time up at the silver downing more booze, talking, and head bopping. steve prior played 10-12 and had a decent set. then it was back to the patio or silver where there was too much entertainment going on which many can attest to. i dont think i laughed so hard in a few hours in a long time. highlight= loco dice trying to convert barb haha. hung out with him after for a bit, cool dude. he did not play at zone, just got drunk with everyone. he did not cancel his gig, apparently there was a thunderstorm which resulted in him not playing. dominic (loco's assistant) was picking up mad ladies hahah

Shouldn't you be chiming in with the "who cares if the DJ can't mix as long as you are having a good time bit" you did in the Dennis Ferrer Montreal thread? |

| I'm surprised no one has commented on Nathan and Carlo's opening set yet. It's not too often you get to hear tunes like that in Toronto, let alone on a boat. They played an amazing opening set. |
