Dude! I've been seeing that face for weeks after watching The Exorcist! My favorite horror movie along with Shutter from 2004. :)
And it's three times. :) Once when Regan is on medical exam, another time on that thing in the kitchen and another time when Karras' mother goes into subway.

Thanks for the enlightment, will try to spot it. But when that directors cut thing came out.. I for one think it's possible that both 2 and 3 are correct answers..

Haha, I know Hollywood remakes suck really bad, but Ringu just didn't do it for me. No scary scenes at all. Ring at least had 2 or 3 scary faces and better tape (the one that kills you after a week). Matter of personal opinion. :)
As for Shutter, Thai version is heaps better than Hollywood remake. Hollywood version is utter crap.

Opinions schmopinions, Ring is an hour and 30 minutes of mediocremeh, whereas Ringu is a five-six hour long build-up that ends in her standing right next to you.
