The Exorcist was the only movie that ever scared me. I was 12 when I watched it for the first time.
Since then there were some horrors that gave me mild creeps, such as Shutter, but nothing else that really scared me.

I always wanted to watch Poltergeist as a kid, but the sperm and egg donor were always against it. Being mormon didn't help either.
I will admit that Willow for some reason scared me the first time I saw it as a kid. I dunno why. Maybe it was his voice coupled with them running away and I have no clue. I just know I got scared.

exorcist 2 was nowhere near as good as 1. three was better than 2, but nothing beats the original. and that ty dominion or whatever it was had the WORST special effects i've ever seen in my life. ing awful.
