Ya, i dont really fill the glass all the way, maybe 1/4th of the way with 2 ice cubes. I finish it usually before the ice has melted.
but its too expensive to buy here, i have to wait to go to guatemala to buy and endulge :D |

One of my goals is to go rum tasting throughout South and Central America very soon.
I was in Spain last year and had this rum on the rocks that was soooooooo sweet. Instant cavity sweet, yet balanced by... something. Needless to say I ordered a whole bottle and then forgot to keep the label.
I have since to find any rum like that here in the States and have thrown down some bucks to find something similiar, yet always disappointed. It was commonly mixed with kiwi juice there.
Anyone have any recs? |

i never enjoyed the taste of any hard liquor...ever. just wine & beer. at the clubs, i would always get tanked on vodka and i hate vodka. i just didn't know what else to order other than vodka cran or redbull. i only recently started liking rum. i don't drink it regularly at all, but i think i could see myself being a rum drinker, although i don't plan on making that a goal of mine lol
i love mojitos and i used to cringe at the thought of rum n coke until i drank a bunch one night cuz there was nothing else to drink and i was pleasantly surprised.
so yea...rum is cool. |
