I might book a flight through Korean Air, but I have never taken this airline before. How is it? I get so nervous taking a new airline.

I lost 2 close friends to that airline...

DON'T DO IT!!!

Seriously, at work... whenever we hear a nightmare story in reference to a flight in Asia, the response is "was it Korean Air?" "Yep" *groan*.

Sorry I edited it for the two friends person.

You work for a travel company? I could save $1000 if I took Korean Air, but it is a 26 hour flight. If it is that bad I don't want to be stuck.

My mom's coworker died while flying Korean Air Lines Flight 007 in 1983, the one that was shot down by commie Russia. She switched flights at the last second to this flight to save money :wtf: :nervous:

LOL... wow I'm surprised at the postings. I've flown Korean Air 4 times in the past 2 years from Atlanta to Seoul. Best international service I've ever had, next to Malaysian Air... the girls are all really nice, look much more professional than the hags on U.S. airlines, and are super attentive. They're all tall too; it's weird seeing tall Korean chicks. Do it!

I booked with Qantas, AA and Air Pacific (never taken them, but it is just one part of the flight). Was the same price.

Thanks!

QANTAS ftw. I've never, ever been disappointed.
