FINALLY!

I interviewed him back in 2005 and he was planning on releasing the album soon after that!

It will be released on 1st September worldwide, with a heap of Jake's awesome hand-drawn artwork inside, which makes me want to own the physical release even more.

I'm so ing pumped. I've loved RTD ever since the day I heard Frequency, and his new remix of Lopazz - We Are is .

There is a mini mix here showcasing snippets from the new release:

i've been a RTD fan since i heard Frequency on Annie Mac's show(i think?) in 2003... i also got that email newsletter about the album :) incredibly excited, i am for sure buying the hard copy of this!

p.s. everyone knows this is the guy who wrote "bullet in the gun", mekka - diamondback etc right? he had a ton of hits in the 90s with HOOJ...

regardless his electro stuff is where its at and his remix of prodigy - girls is just absurd.

He was JX in the ninties, with all the huge hits I loved like Son Of A Gun and Restless.

When he first started as Rex, he kept his identity secret because he wanted to start fresh. It took me about 18 months to find out who he really was; one of the biggest ":wtf:" moments ever for me.

Here's the interview I did with him at the end of 2006* for anyone interested:

Club Mix is going down a treat over here... need to hear a full version of Huntemann Remix, the BP sample doesnt do anything.
