when people witness something absurd and extreme they freeze and do nothing... by the time their brains comes back online, they realized the guy was beyond dead and just ran outside.

pretty disturbing . Now well have to go through a metal detector before getting on a bus.

They do it already in Mexico

The buses are very very very clean

They give you food and everything

Bus services in Europe are also very well used

US + Canada just don't understand how to take care of that kind of service

How to make it secure and make people WANT to take the bus

There's not as much profit to make with bus services here because everyone has his own car, not like in Mexico, Europe or even third world countries like Syria.

With the current gaz price... im sure people would reconsider a lot

Only to send something by bus is a nightmare

The main stop in Montreal closes almost everyday at 6pm to send mail or objects by bus ..... WTF ???

You ship it from quebec... but they dont give you a tracking number or anything... nobody knows exactly when its gonna get to Mtl...

The only thing coming out of their mouth is...." If it left at 3pm... it SHOULD be in at 6pm.... but wee not sure "

Anyways... they should do something... especially that this awfull news will scare people even more

Bad service + no security = less busses.... less busses = less people who consider taking it... and it goes on like that

i agree with circus.

even the city busses in seoul (express buses) had luxury seating if you wanted to pay for it.

The services offered on their long bus runs were incredible.

Taking a greyhound is ing brutal in this country and the US. Why anyone would subject themselves to that with other alternatives (even if a bit pricier) were available is beyond me.

They are not charging him with first degree murder for sure.. Not sure about second either... Insanity actually goes in his favor in court.

Sick... the guy ate his flesh...

gaz price only made it worse, like i said before, everyone has a car here so bus is never an option.

The only time I took a bus is when i was 17 and didn't have a car, and yes it was crappy.

they will charge him with accidental decapitation and ingestion of human flesh due to impaired mental judgement, which in Canada, is lower than murder and carries a lesser sentence of 3.8 years.

in all honesty i think this is the most fu**ed up story i have ever heard in my 27 years of life.

Goes to say,

Quality > Quantity....

ed up dude in Manitoba > 100 shootings a year in the US

I was shocked to the core when I read the article..and still am. I cried when I read it and I didn't even know the guy..
I hope that sick rots in prison and fries in hell for all of eternity.
I've heard some horribly gruesome stories in my lifetime, but I think this one takes the cake...or at least it's definitely the one that affected me the most.

RIP Tim McLean.
