That ad is just so incredibly low.

I think they're both ****s, but that's just me.

Krypton,

No wonder you need places like Canada, so the government can take care of you. That just demonstrates to us the type of socilialist life you so much want. Might as well try moving to Cuba or Venezuela ;) Sorry that America dissapoints you, I mean I can't blame it... If glowsticking is the only way for you to demonstrate your skills and be compensated for it.

Please, no one is hating. Just accept the facts as they are.

I just want to point out that quite a few of the left-leaning people that post here have quite lucrative/high-level jobs. I can rattle off a few that I think make 6 figures, so don't go pulling that that people who disagree with you need socialism to survive.

Ask me if I care if people make six figueres or dont have an income at all?

You missed to get the point. If people were intelligent enough around here they would know that the people that run the Democracts are trial lawyers: those who go around making a living bankrupting doctors and small businesses. Labor unions: those that want to tell businesses how much should they compensate workers and better yet who should they hire and fire.

First, "I didn't miss the point" because this is the first time that you've mentioned attorneys or the legal system at all in this thread. You have an uncanny ability to completely retreat from an argument when proven wrong, instead going for something completely unrelated to anything that you've said.

Second, lawyers would be hurting pretty bad under socialism, so I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to prove here. How well does a job in the legal profession work in a socialist country? How many attorneys do you really need for show trials (think of the movie Red Corner with Richard Gere)? This "the Democratic Party is run by trial lawyers" is just another bull argument fed to you by right wing radio that really isn't true. But I know, it's easy to criticize something when you know absolutely nothing about it besides what is selectively spoonfed to you.

And we all know that the argument that you'll use is that many of those running for the Presidency have law related jobs. Too bad you ignore that those like the Clintons were corporate attorneys, representing the interests of many of the companies that the Republican party defends on a daily basis. You fail to recognize that many large firms represent people from all sides and are more interested in making money than setting idealogical agendas. As a result, they'll have one case going where they're representing a company against a union and another representing a different union against a different company.

I find it hilarious how much money the legal field dumps into the campaigns of Republican candidates yet they get to hear constant criticisms because they have one of the few jobs that the far right outright attacks.

Don't forget about "activist judges". Any ruling by a judge which goes against the right wing agenda gets labeled an "activist judge"... From the Supreme Court on down.. They are trying to turn this country into a theocratic dictatorship.. No, you can't smoke that..No, you can't have control over your body. No, you can't have a secular science classroom. No, you can't have your privacy. Yes, Big Brother is watching you...Then we have Latinlover, who tells us, we have nothing to fear from surveillance, as long as we're not terrorists...

Just read LatinLoser's new posts in the Mega-church thread and thought I'd resurrect this one since he wants to talk about intellectual dishonesty.
