Adelaide's lineup is so-so
We don't get Ottiavani which does kinda suck a lot.
This Adelaide->Melbourne swap for some acts does play a bit of havoc.
We have
Booka Shade from 1:30-2:30
Paul van Dyk 2:30-4:00
A massive hole of nothingness
Carl Cox 7:15-8:30
Infected Mushroom 8:00-9:00 (side stage)
If they're doing passouts at that time I might go home between PvD and Carl Cox. Somehow I don't think I'm gonna hang around for Sneaky Sound System closing either. |

That is so . Worse times than Melbourne. PVD at 2.30 is woeful. Doubling up on festivals in one day is only asking for trouble |

well when PVD was here in 2006 for Kabuki 5.0, he was playing in canberra up until like 1 or 2 hours before he was playing at melbourne... and... he wasnt late... how he did fk knows but it was an awesome night

He was in a big rush and didnt seem to happy about it when he arrived. He got changed in the crappy bathrooms backstage.
He was booked back to back for that whole tour. Isnt that why he was late to that festival out in the bush? |

I've been toing and froing about going to this all day today.
Still not sure.
The 3 hour chasm of e is pretty much the major thing holding me back. That and I'm not sure ~$100 is worth it for 3 hours total of PvD and Carl Cox.
I'll probably end up going, didn't get to see PvD when he was out at the end of last year. I'll pop back to work or something in the gap and do somnething productive with my time. |
