Have fun kids. I'm sitting this one out now!

I have heard that Infected Mushroom were average in Sydney last night and PVD looked moody, again! LOL

I will pray for no rain for you all :toothless

I had a wicked day, was great weather, bit chilly at the end, but still a great day. Shame GO was on a side stage, but was great to be able to have a dance around. Good to see the side stage could bang out some sound as well. The Godskitchen side stage at Global had poor sound!

Was awesome to see PVD playing with the sun going down, great day, Booka were pretty cool but not a fan for a closing act! Like I said though PVD was awesome for the sun set!
narcism
weather turned out to be awesome, so glad it didnt rain :D
infected cashboom as to be expected was cheese
giuseppe owned that little side room, what a gun
seen a bit of cox who was also rocking it
was disappointed in pvd's set,
set time clashes were mega but u cant help it with so many dj's on the lineup

cant really fault much about the day, staff were all very friendly, toilet and drink lines weren't too long considering the crowd numbers

me i've never seen so many orange people before :p

Yeah I ended up going to Adelaide Stereosonic

Some major organisation problems. Took me 45-50 minutes to get in, at one point the line moved less than 5 metres in 15 minutes. This was the Moshtix barcode ticket line, and there were no body searches so its not like that was slowing it down. Absolute joke.

There was no organisation of drink lines, they really needed to set up lanes with fences. Getting drinks was a 15 minute exercise of standing in line. A couple of fights broke out in the drinks lines.

Carl Cox was 30 minutes late, I blame the Mel-Adl swap.

Staging was pretty good. No complaints from me on that level. No lasers probably cos it was right under the final approach to Adelaide Airport, but they weren't missed. Bonython Park is a great place for a party like that though, plenty of open space for stages and plenty of shade around, and no choke points like the tiny bridge in Rundle Park (where FMF is held)

Booka Shade were awesome. Because of the line to get in I only saw about 25-30 minutes of them though.

PvD was good, but disappointing. Probably the worst I've seen him.

3 hour chasm of e was truly chasmy and truly e. DJ Minx is awesomely hot but plays music. Acid Jacks, what a joke, I've never seen such a pair of douche-bags in my life. No passouts meant I had to stay there for the duration, luckily I bumped into some ex-TA's so that made it better.

Carl Cox, only saw about 25-30 mins of him cos of his late start. Started off housey and electro-ey, didn't rate it too much. Seemed to be ramping it up a bit so maybe it was better later.

Infected Mushroom I actually liked, energetic, banging, yeah i rated it.

Didn't bother with Sneaky Sound System, I've heard each of their songs 4 times a day on Nova, I haev no desire to hear their music ever again.

Enjoyed the day a lot more than I thought I was going to, no doubt helped by running into the other guys which definitely helped. The music was in general good, I enjoyed the acts I wanted to see, had a good time, the weather was spectacularly good.

1830 - 1930 ASTRAL PROJECTION LIVE

best hour of trance ever :D

tracks i knew were open society, the prophecy, push strange world remix and people can fly, the rest was all new stuff which was mad! i would have preferred it a bit faster, they seemed to play fairly down tempo for most of the set, but other than that i thought it was awesome :D been waiting years to see them here and i wasn't disappointed. i got a whole buch of autographs after, we were sitting on the side of the stage and they were going through them saying 'woah you have records we don't even have!' haha they were just as excited as i was :D

other highlights for me were guiseppe ottaviani and orpheus in the ocean stage, they were fantastic i thought, the rest of the time was spent mostly wandering around throughout the day. saw the last half hour or so of pvd which wasn't too bad, huge crowd was loving it. saw some of dj hell at the end, including the power cut out or whatever happened hehe, then we ended up leaving a bit before ten.

i had no problems with lines or anything, if anything it should have been stricter i think! i had a backpack and walked in through the bag check line, nobody stopped me to look or anything, i just went straight in. i could have been a terrorist! :p

overall it was mostly fun, it was like future music festival this year in that i was only really going for 1 or 2 acts, who were really good, and the rest of the entertainment was just hanging out with friends. plenty of eye candy was nice haha and so was the weather, sunny all day. so yeah i had fun :)

got a couple of videos which i'll post when i get around to it :p

nah. Haven't seen those two around for ages.

Fpcookie
as far as festivals go, it was pretty good. a zillion times better than anything at the bowl. minimal lines for toilets/drinks, good layout, good sound.
music was decent imo. no major highlight sets that i saw.
tracks of the day were nu nrg - freefall and vitalic - la rock.
kelsta
Weather was perfect really, it did get chilly when the sun went down so I was happy I had carried my jacket around all day.

Highlight was definitely the Ocean Stage, Guiseppe, Orpheus & Astral = awesome. The room was big enough to get around in, had less shirtless tools and the bar line was short = win.

PVD while the sun was going down was not a bad way to end the day :)
