lots of TOTA DJs have played in many bars/clubs all around town but i think Vivid's point is why isn't anyone big like Tiesto or Armin already. i mean many of you DJ guys can play/produce as well or even better than those guys.
i think the days of superstars are over anyways. all the big dj's are big from like 10 years ago. there won't be another sasha or tiesto or danny tenaglia. |

I wish you were right.....but I think the North American scene needs superstar DJs....without them growth will not happen (which to many would be a good thing).
If there isn't a superstar DJ then one will be created. Tiesto wasn't created over night....it will take time but there will be other superstar DJs for the next generation of "ravers". Most of the superstar DJs we think of are in their late 30s to late 40s.
I think SVD could be the leader for the next generation of superstar DJs....that is if he has the right agent and marketing team surrounding him. |

well i dont care if someone has connections or not...u need that to get gigs no matter how good u are...u just dont brag about like ur a superstar just cos ur playing alongside a big name IN UR OWN CITY |

I realize I'm fully validating your stupidity by arguing with you, but I want to be clear that I was joking when I wrote Jeff and I are playing on the kaskade boat. I wrote "lol"... no love for Jeff and I who've been breaking our balls the last 2 years as local dj's. The TOTA massive have supported us like crazy and you're bitching about them not giving you any attention but in actuality it's because (1) you can't dj to save your life but mostly because (2) you're a prick. |
