BT-1.618
Stunning electronic mastery from one of its true greats to introduce the mix. Broken, minimal, cut-up beats contrasted with sumptuous guitar work.
Joey Fehrenbach-Don't Wake Me
Wonderful, mellow electronica from Joey Fehrenbach. Love the haunting atmosphere throughout this piece of music.
Moshic-You Feel
Dark, fast-paced breakbeat which retains that eerie atmosphere. Great melodic stabs after the break in this.
Anibal MF-Charnag
After a downtempo start the mix starts to deliver some standard 4/4 action. I have been in love with this track since I first heard it, its one of the most calming tunes I've ever heard!
Arthur Deep-Arctic Wind
Intelligent melodic breakbeat from Arthur Deep, as has been customary in these mixes!
Yarden-Magik Fly
An injection of gloriously happy melodies which can't help but charm the listener. A track which puts a smile on your face!
Milan Khol-Little Lamp (soundstorm remix)
Deep, atmospheric and unhurried melodic progressive-just what I like.
Arthur Deep-Melchior
As an indication of Arthur Deep's talents his work is starting to attract the attention of the major labels, this outing on Proton is one of his most distinctive tracks yet.
Chance Jumpers-Silk (terje bakke remix)
Hugely infectious bassline-led remix by Terje Bakke. The little guitar melody goes round and round in your head for days.
Solarity-Elements (yvel+tristan remix)
Heralded by a crescendo of noise this track delivers that achingly cool house/tech/prog sound that Yvel+Tristan produce so well. Quality house music.
Solesystem-Waxoil
The mix enters its trancier culmination now. This track features solid, punchy percs and traditional synth work for a nostalgic sounding treat.
Promonova-Two Equators (abstract vision remix)
Massive pacey bassline-led floor destroyer. Good use of interesting sounds aswell.
Tomi Chair-Telepathy
Old-skool sounding prog-trance than conjures up images of psychedelic swirls and other such neon imagery!
Moshic-You Feel (prog mix)
The bigger, larger cousin to the other version of this track played earlier. Fantastic dark, evocative trance with a special payoff.
Benz+MD-Departed
A wall of noise approach by Benz+MD to end the mix in noisy, but still classy, style.
BT-1.618 (outro)
The latter half of this track was used to gently ease the listener out of the mix...
Pepi
love the intro and outro....where oh where did you get the idea to use this brilliant track? :P

Smooth. Deep. Atmospheric. Lush. All of these words serve to nicely sum up this installment of the Windmill Sessions. This mix is somewhat of a departure from your other mixes in the series. Less trancey and less driving overall, but that doesn't take away from this one at all, mate. There are some really lush, full, and deep tunes in this mix, and it made for perfect chilled listening. I will give this another go this week when I'm feeling up to par (or closer, I hope). Cheers for the share, Spike. :D

Thanks matey! There is a bit more downtempo tracks at the opening of the set than in other mixes here, although the only reason for that is because I loved the first 4 tracks so much I had to include each of them. Hopefully these tracks deliver a deep, immersive, musical approach to gradually ease the listener in.
Get well soon snake-charmer:p

I'm well on the mend now, mate. Walking without crutches, and every day it feels better. I can't wait for the swelling to go down. Then I'll feel closer to normal.
