Well let's take Christians for example. They know when someone is ridiculous and they collectively will acknowledge that, including publicly if necessary. Muslims will not do this in general. You may have a select few that do, but very few will. There is a provision in the Koran that provides the ability to call someone basically a radical, but they refuse to ever do this. |

well, if withdrawal from israel & returning it to 'palestine' would stop a lot of the that happens, then maybe it isn't such a bad idea after all. |

ing hell. Dawkins is truly the DJ Sammy of the science world. The only book he came close to be good at writing was The Blind Watchmaker, and even that was shaky.
If you're gonna read something critical of religion, at least read something intelligent and well-written.

What's needed is an end to Israeli colonization of Palestinian lands, and an end to the occupation. I don't know of a single nation that when occupied by a foreign army, didn't fight back..
But even Hamas realizes that the Jewish state of Israel isn't going anywhere, and are willing to work some type of compromise. Who will muster the will is anyone's guess. |

it's about time they stopped dicking around, even many westerners admit the creation of israel was a mistake, so why not undo it. All of the people who then complain about the 'west' intefereing in their business then lose their excuse to fight. |

to be to honest, im a complete noob when it comes to atheist books. the only other one ive ever read is the god delusion. seems like theyre a current fad though; i swear they werent around when i was at school... it had never occurred to me to read a book on such a 'non' subject, but on a whim i borrowed dawkins' effort and really liked it. figured id see who else i liked on the subject. |
