Dude, I still use Windows 98, ok? Lolololol.
I don't even have a graphics card, it's integrated. I checked system properties and it's just "standard PCI graphics adapter", plus there's no card in the motherboard. So uh, I dunno what to do now. I don't have any installation disks or anything because this pc was configured by someone else.
I did take the case off and saw something that I think might have to do with the graphics, so maybe I'll see if I get results searching for that.
If I can't figure this out, looks like I'll be getting that laptop I wanted a lot sooner than anticipated, lulz.

i format my brain every time i get a new OS so i have room to fit the new OS on. so all of my 98 skills have been erased.

I commend you for being so hardcore that you run a 10 year old OS, you are more hardcore than I.
With that said, you could simply get a driver for your integrated graphics card, just google for drivers for your motherboard. If that doesn't work, then get a new machine.

Yeah I'm working on it. But do I need a driver for the WHOLE motherboard? Cause I'm pretty sure I found the graphics chip - should I just go from that?
