I think that was Hatiras's ...i went upstairs just after soulwax finished and Hatiras just got on. Unless audion was playing a hatiras track to finish his set.
edit: LOL!!! definatly was Hatiras...you can see me jumping around in the front with a folded up umbrella waiving in the air.

Really, really wish I could have made this. Was very much looking forward to this festival and the venue itself as wel (even more, arguably).
Shame I had priorities I couldnt simply shake off to attend this. :(
This will probably be my biggest bummer of the summer, having to miss this.
(Being stuck in the CLUSTER- of a traffic jam on the 401 East before the 400 due to that damnèd propane explosion didnt help my mood either!!!  :whip: :whip: )

Druggy techno.
Love hearing that term/description applied to a techno sound because it makes me think of Mark EG everytime! lol. On on his Blackout Audio radio show I hear him make reference to "druggy techno" tracks at least twice every episode. Haha ;) :D

I wonder how many of the people who bitch about hipsters used to wear phat pants, button down shirts and ties to raves back in the day.
I wonder though... I dont think all the comments are "bitching,” but maybe just more like "remarking."
I mean, its not a fashion style the person who is commenting is accustomed to seeing regularly (or at all), I assume. He or she knows, I’m sure, that the style/ppl exists, but he or she isn’t usually confronted by it. Thus when he or she is, it usually warrants a comment of some sort. If any comments are non-negative, I see no reason to be surprised, shocked or outraged by them.

:nervous: I think the complete opposite. Unless of course you meant that he was the druggy playing techno. lol

No. I am referring to the music that is played on his tracks. A lot of it has a very druggy techno feel! And you always hear him say as such too. :)
And, surprisingly, he's not hopped up on drugs when he spins, despite appearances. Its all part of his DJ image he's cultivated. He'd be a complete disaster for real if he was botched doing the he's doing. The stuff he does it all fairly controlled (generally, speaking. But accidents happen, of course. ;))
