If you want info.. I got it. Not sure what this thread is about.
I have tried to get all my girlfriends to do it.. Especially Slylee cuz she lives in Florida where they have THE most awesome chain of waxing salons ( Uni K Wax ). FINALLY one will be opening up in NY and California *can't wait* |

Ok.
Noob. Is this a specialized place? Do you know what type of wax they use? If they use typical wax with the cloth - then good luck. That will both HURT and BURN u. If they use HARD wax then you'll be fine.
When they spread the "hard wax" it becomes hard in like 30 seconds. They use the dried up wax to rip ur hairs out. It's great for your skin because the wax won't get stuck to your skin. Just the hairs.
If you are close to your period it will also hurt regardless if u take advils. I suggest you take it. I didn't take any but it hurts like hell your first time. If you keep mainting it (Not shave inbetween waxes) then it'll hurt less and less. Now i'm in and out in 10 mins. First time was a bit long cuz it huuuuuuuuuuuuurts.
The pain is worth it. Trust me. |
