When they spread the "hard wax" it becomes hard in like 30 seconds. They use the dried up wax to rip ur hairs out. It's great for your skin because the wax won't get stuck to your skin. Just the hairs.
If you are close to your period it will also hurt regardless if u take advils. I suggest you take it. I didn't take any but it hurts like hell your first time. If you keep mainting it (Not shave inbetween waxes) then it'll hurt less and less. Now i'm in and out in 10 mins. First time was a bit long cuz it huuuuuuuuuuuuurts.
The pain is worth it. Trust me. |

It's insta pain for about 10 seconds whenever they rip ur hairs. But once they go over the area again to catch any hairs they missed... It doesn't hurt. (If it's hard wax) The wax only grabs onto the hairs! |

Ny is 52.50 plus 9 bucks tip. even though that includes the butt strip *sounds funny* haha.
Miami is like 23$ without the butt strip. Which isn't really necessary. I think it's 15 for the strip.

I really do hope you don't have the cloth. I couldn't find a "hard waxing" salon in NY for a while so I was stuck doing it with places that use the cloth and honey sticky wax. OMFG. This one lady burned me and I wanted to kill her. It hurt to take a shower for 2 days.
