u guys i'm having issues with my cat. it just occurred to me the other day that my cat is fat for her age. i called my vet and told them how much i feed her and how often and she was like, "uhh, yea u need to cut that in half, and then cut THAT in half". :(

she is so ing PERSISTANT though omg she doesn't shut up until i feed her. and she'll go scratch at my pantry door for ever cuz that's where her food is. i mean for EVER. she was just doing it 2 minutes ago as i started to post this and i had to yell at her and chase her in my bedroom and close the door. now she's scratching at the door and meowing as i type this. i could seriously strangle her...but then i pick her up and she gives me this litle look and all i can do is hug her and kiss her.

i'm a bad mom. i suck.

haha... I understand. they give you the sweetest looks when they want people food. It's hard to resist. Breaking a cat's habit is hard as hell... you gotta be persistent and not slip up ONE TIME. One random slip will re-inforce their behavior even more. Let's say for example you give them milk every day. If you take it away, then give it again in 6 days, then take it away, then give it agian in 3 days, take it away and then give it 9 days later, there will be no consistent pattern and this will make it nearly impossible to break their habit. I bet it will take you 4-6 weeks of every day, only giving them the right amount of cat food and water. Let them meow, let them scratch at the pantry, let them cry all they want... but you gotta go cold turkey no exceptions. They may avoid the cat food for a day or 2, but believe me, when instinct kicks in they'll eat it. I know it's hard when they cry and look at you like they are so sad, but remember they'll live longer if you take better care of their weight. Start tomorrow! Don't cave in, softy!

you have to break them when they are young.

a watergun is wondeful for this.

older cats...forget about it.

To the original poster: the cats are awesome, great coat pattern.

Your girl is okay but has a horrible, horrible dress sense. Gold spandex dresses and jeans with rips down the front? Lose.

spandex? lol. the dress is Versace and it's very fine, thin leather. The jeans, meh... i don't see the big deal. that photo is from 2006 anyway when ripped jeans were a little more popular

You seem insecure to me.

That's why you defend your GF like this and buy $4000 worth of cats.

Where as I sex cats for money and don't post pictures of my GF's face when she busts me balls deep in The Purr Monster.

Not insecure in the least man... I just like to set the record strait. Of course I'm going to defend my lady when there's a misconception. Besides, how would that reflect on me if I was with someone that wore spandex dresses? lol. Not sure what insecurity has to do with spending 4K on cats... I don't spend a lot of money, except on vacations when I get the chance, and quality cats. If I were like Mike Tyson spending 100K a month to take care of a tiger, I can see how that would come off in that way, but lots of people have pets that are costly.

my fish cost me around £3 every couple of months
