she is so ing PERSISTANT though omg she doesn't shut up until i feed her. and she'll go scratch at my pantry door for ever cuz that's where her food is. i mean for EVER. she was just doing it 2 minutes ago as i started to post this and i had to yell at her and chase her in my bedroom and close the door. now she's scratching at the door and meowing as i type this. i could seriously strangle her...but then i pick her up and she gives me this litle look and all i can do is hug her and kiss her.

I have a similar problem, last week I did some research on diet food and then went to Petco. Its very expensive compared to the normal dry food but it has better ingredients and lower fat/calories. This way I can keep his dish filled and him quiet. So far it looks like its working so maybe you want give it a try. |

well 'diet' or 'weight control' food doesnt seem to help much in my experience, as it is usually of negligible difference and fo sho makes them bitchier.
but you SHOULD be feeding them decent food, Iams, Science Diet, anything that doesnt have ing cartoons on the label, or the cheapest you can find. this vastly improves their overall health.
and THEN you need to feed them ~1/4 cup of food twice a day, on a schedule. they will still whine a bit, but cats know the time pretty well so they know when to expect to be fed, rather than just all the time. |

How old is your cat and what food do you feed her? Brand?, dry or wet (canned)?
