Looks like some people have Alzheimer's disease; remember that pvd always plays better indoors than outdoors in the NY area, not everywhere. I am sure he will play an excellent show and all the whiners and trash talkers will eat your words. If you don’t like pvd, stay home and I will appreciate the breathing space besides I won’t be bother by your stupid glowsticks:haha: :haha:

For the record: I seen pvd over 20 times, in many parts of the world. The guy is as professional as it gets.

pipe0007 im with you on that. People love to drop $ and see pvd every time but then talk about how bad he was. For some reason people feel the need for a DJ to play the songs they want to hear, and not play the ones they dont. If thats the case stay home and listen to your ipod, you can pick and choose as you like. Over the years PVD has changed but so has music, I personally think he wrecks house everytime, and not just when Ive seen him in NY, but hey to each his own.

couldnt agree more with this....ive seen PVD about 7-8 times now in different parts of the US and he has never left me disappointed after any set. wish i was able to make it to this one. still have yet to see him at roseland.

honestly, seen him once at pier54 this year and i can agree with the people bashing on his set. that was the worst trance experience of my life thus far. even though i'm pretty new to the scene, i can say his set was boring, unevolving, and similar to many of his other sets in terms of structure. so making it out to see him @ roseland is just out of the question for me, christmas gifts + new gear = more important than pvd at this point.

agreed hellscream!!

And people have the right to say they didnt like it, especially if they were THERE to witness it (its the only time I have problems with people bitching....when they are not even there and base thier opinions on tracklists/previous experiences/etc....)

And who said anything about coming to "every show and paying money, while not liking it??" Personally, I have been to several PVD shows that I have enjoyed, but thought his pier set was really boring.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I just dont understand people who go out expecting the dj to play, or act a certain way. Maybe its bc i cant get out as much as i used to but i always enjoy the music even if its different. I thought the pier was good but alot of people didnt. To me it was a relaxing day, a good vibe and good music.
