Looks like some people have Alzheimer's disease; remember that pvd always plays better indoors than outdoors in the NY area, not everywhere. I am sure he will play an excellent show and all the whiners and trash talkers will eat your words. If you don’t like pvd, stay home and I will appreciate the breathing space besides I won’t be bother by your stupid glowsticks:haha: :haha:

For the record: I seen pvd over 20 times, in many parts of the world. The guy is as professional as it gets.

OK! wmc09?:toothless

Not exactly true And "better" is a pretty subjective opinion, no?

I mean, I'm only 30something and have seen EVERY nyc gig since him and MR. C teamed up at twilo almost 12 years ago but what would i know.

Epic trance is great and all, and some of his roxy and roseland winter sets have been rediculous, but I truly enjoy when I get to hear some prog house, breaks, big beat, etc etc......thats what sets paul apart from people like Armin and Tiesto who just play trance trance trance and more trance.

he never bangs it out like that in NYC. Feels the need to go "tech" on NY crowd. I hate that crap. I wish he would just for once try to appease his more "uplifting" fans (if any are still coming to his NY shows).

..thanks, I'll pass. I'd rather spend $50+ on a bottle of Grey Goose + Red Bull and chill out in my mancave, rockin' out my, xbox 360 on 42" plasma, and save myself the hassle.

Some people just can't appreciate a class act like Paul. That is just my opinion. I think he is very versatile and can throw down a mean set.

Can't speak for others but I can. I've attended many of his parties since '99 and never missed his set in Twilo or Roxy. You CANNOT compare PvD before Ableton and after Ableton. Simple as that.

Ever since PvD went from 2 decks to Deck + Laptop, his sets have gone downhill. Sorry, but that's coming from a former card-carrying member of the PvD whore alliance.

I have yet to see his versatility. Paul has become too much of a businessman and not as much of a DJ lately. It's all about marketing Vonyc and Vandit, not as much about music. C'mon, don't even get me started - take a listen to the stuff he released starting with and prior to "Out there and back" and you'll understand.

I think saying like "oh, ppl can't appreciate a class act like Paul" is very ing condescending, considering the audience of this thread. I don't see any n00bs saying "OMG, who's this Pee Vee Dee character?"

Get off yer high horse and look it in teeth - time for glue factory for this pony, IMNSHO.
