omg what a crazy awesome show. we had to leave at 330am cuz we are have to maike something the next day.
but damns relentless from beginning to end, there was DEF something special in the air
it started with Keryn in the Cave, then Rai, and other (Ali?) anyway you guys did awesomely in there
As for Boyer and M.I.K.E. in the main room,l one moment we werent allowed in cuz they were still setting up/warming the NEXT minute the whole floor is CROWDEDDDDD. We walk outside for some air, l come back and Boyers already into the final few stanzas of Silence -- we were all like GODDAMNS he went into that already??? man Boyer was SIIICK loved it.
M.I.K.E. - madd good set, urban shakedown ftw I think it was. omg everyone went wild!! well that track was in siiick
Zack follows them and damns Ascension - Someone, Silence AGAIN!!!~ -- my fav track of ALL time -- and Airwave...w00t i loved all the other songs but i couldnt id them
the rooms were getting a bit stuffy; thank goodness for the corner in front of that store; we all took many a breather, ahahh
The DC/VA visitors thought LOVE was a GREAT venue. I think they are STILL THERE!!
great seeing everyone!!! |

This was such an insanely fun party!
omygoodness. Right after Phelps won his last swim match - I headed over to Love. Caught the last 15 mins of Randy Boyers set. HEARD CQ!! I prob would have been sobbing through out that song if he was my friend :(. That and maybe cuz I'm a chick:p Wish I could have caught "So Please". Prob missed a few gems cuz of coming in late.
M.I.K.E - Insane. If it wasn't so hot - I'd have listened to his set more.
Utah Saints - Lost Vagueness was my jam and so glad he played it! *died w/Wai* Also, Perry O Niels - Waveforce
The guy inside the Cave while M.I.K.E was spinning was okay till he played that Alice Deejay song and Castles in the fuking sky. That's not what I consider trance let alone a classic. But thanks Mr Cave man. If it wasn't for Castles - I would have missed out on Lost Vagueness.
Zach - You played awesome man. I love your selection. Work it!!!
Gerard - Wish u could have gone on earlier but my body was literally telling me "go home bitch, you have to work in a few hours"
The people, vibe, TA's were out in full force and I love u all for making me laugh non-freaking-stop! You guys rock.
p.s. Love's A/C and Sound were lacking yesterday. Still didn't stop anyone from having a good time :toocool:
p.p.s. MET STEVEN-NEIL ! I can die happy ! |

Couldn't have put it better myself, the best night at LOVE ever. All the Dj's were exceptional and the crowd were just typical friendly music loving clued up clubbers. I missed Randy unfortunately but M.I.K.E was outstanding. Zack and Frank did a great job of keeping the main floor rocking. I didn't hear one single bad track. Rory, Madraver and Gerald laveel were on point in the cave.
I left at knows when o'clock and the place was still jumping.
Sam Gan doing the Irish jig on the DF = Priceless
Mel with brown hair FTW (you are so ing cute)
Nice job CORE NYC, keep 'em coming.
Oh PS ffs, Pics to follow... |

Man seriously the best show of the year. It was amazing to hear so many classics. Randy was ridiculous and so was everyone else. I tried dancing as much as i can and wish i could have stayed longer but around 5 i had to leave. Of course it was great hanging out with everyone again.
btw what was going on when Frank came on  |

Zack wanted to get back at me for blowing the power at Transit in Philly, that's what happened....:D
We had a Rane mixer wired through the regular mixer last night, in order to accommodate one of the DJ's who was supposed to play serato. Zack's last track (Pulser - Cloudwalking) suddenly started echoing like craaaaaazy. I thought "hmm, must be the CD". Pop it out, put in my first track (Chicane - Don't Give Up, Disco Citizens vs Tomski Remix) on the other cd player. Plays fine. Next track (Airscape - L'Esperanza) is cued up and ready to go. As soon as I start bringing it in, same happens again. Pull that CD out, put back in other CD player. Run to front and grab a replacement CDJ. Replace CDJ that we think is messed up. Cue up next track (Flight 643), same . Finally decide to restart the Rane mixer, and finally it was fixed. Needless to say, that was an unwelcome surprise at 430am when you're about to play a set you've been really pumped about, but hey, happens. The different mixer may also explain why some people thought it didn't sound quite as amazing as usual. Still sounded really good to me, but these ol' DJ ears may have tinnitus coming in to play.
I REALLY can't thank everyone enough who put up with the feedback loop problem described above and stayed for the duration of my set. I was frustrated as hell, til I looked up and still saw smiling faces out there. You guys f'ing rock :)
All the cave guys did a great job, beginning to end.
It was great meeting Randy, who is definitely a class act. Amazing set too.
Didn't get to hear much of M.I.K.E., but everyone I spoke to said he killed it.
Zack, aside from your sabotage, loved your set too. Never get tired of hearing Rank 1 - Airwave :D

| I wasn't there for this, but I never realized Urban Shakedown was that popular of a track. I haven't been into trance for... 5 years now. But that's definitely in my top 5 from back then. |
