I don't want to be mean or anything. Your mixing is great and you do a good job. However, the style of music you choose is very slow and boring. I could not imagine anyone dancing to this set at a club or anything. And dancing is what this music is all about.
I think you should play jeff mills style techno and you would really move the dance floor..

I wanted this mix like that,I can play any type of music from smooth to hard anytime,i'm very various. This mix is to listen at any moment of the day or week and if you feel to dance in your living room or kitchen ,tap your feet while you work , it's a option.
The music taste of anyone is different,I know and understand it.

Hard techno is rare in montreal at this moment,but I play minimal techno often, it's hard and slow,around 128-130bpm. That's the actual sound of techno right now. Browse the techno section on beatport or minimal,you will hear lot's of type of techno.
I invite you to check my calendar once in a while and come see me play. On mix and in a party, 2 different vibes.
Also,go on my website and download Emotionnal Chaos mix,I did it in february,but maybe you'll like it.
But I suggest you to listen the lastest mix few times more and just enjoy it,like it is.

The original techno sound has not evoloved into something different, it is still the same. This new techno sound is currently a very popular variant of the original techno + Minimal. If you browse vinyl shops such as decks.de you will notice that old school techno sound is really strong. For me they are almost two completely different genres because its almost impossible to mix the two together. Im happy that people are playing this new type of techno in Mtl but I find the city is still very behind.
