can someone explain what the purpose of a timing belt is?
there is class action against volkswaagen for 99 passat turbo owners who paid money for any repairs that were timing belt related.
i've pretty much had my car in the shop A LOT since i got her. had my transmission rebuilt, my alternator went out and a few other things i can't remember.
anyway thanks for any info:) |

it's different when u read fancy websites or browse car forums with all these dudes talking in what seems to be chinese to me. |
