View this Thread in Original format
djalixir
I've since gone back to producing other forms of music and am offering this track as a free download. It's a professional production (you can obviously demo the track if you go to the link below in safari). Feel free to use this track in any way you like apart from reproducing the content and sampling it. It's been made to be played in any way you see fit. You can also re-distribute the track in whole as you see fit. Enjoy....comments on a postcard to www.possiblyinfected.co.uk about how it performs on the floor......

Firstly , who the do you think you are?
Secondly , its boring
Thirdly , i would'nt sample anything from that
Fourthly, At a trance gig , this is the tune when people go the toilet or get a drink.
Fifthly,I buy my music software/hardware,so speak for yourself
Sixthly,You can shove your website up your ass and off
djalixir
Lol......Surely you can do better than that? I've heard worse from 10 year olds...yawn....

Nice to see there's still professionalism in the music community out there, even in replies.....you truly aren't british through and through (shame about the st george's cross you're flying), maybe you definitely aren't BNP material either.....

here's another link for you

Or maybe you had some bad pills this eve?

Lets go for the world record longest slagging off in a forum record, shame Norris McWhirter is dead otherwise I'd have him adjudicate......
djalixir
i forgot to say, thanks for the constructive criticism, be rude of me not to.......
adi_hanson
Why you posting here?
Your track is obviously so good that we torrenting bastards have the holy right to play your production with your blessing.

Get it to MoS , gatecrasher and so on.

God sake , this promotion section is for consructive feedback , not for trance gods like yourself to gloat.
djalixir
okay....just to keep you happy (since you obviously demand this), I've edited the original post to make me seem less 'trance god' like......as stated, the original track was posted as a free download, people will either like it (you have obviously stated you don't in quite a demeaning fashion - but you are entitled to your opinion obviously) and download it or they won't...simple as that....i hope i fit your posting regime now la...i'm surprised anybody posts in these forums with demeaning attacks such as yours.....you're obviously such a trance god, world famous and making so much money through your multitude of releases that 'nobody does it better' (cue bond song)....
adi_hanson
youve created a new thread for your response but ill reply here,

look at the other posts in here , some by already signed producers (maybe yourself is signed?) that ask for feedback and then get the tune released.
But none come in and say what you did , Were not some Scouse House community that will sample a can dropping for use in a tune.
Im sorry but you left yourself wide open to flaming
Do you expect to get good advice to a bad discription?
djalixir
as stated previously, i expected people to listen and post constructive criticism in a professional manner, which seems to be lacking wholly these days.....if you google me, i used to review for major labels (unfortunately MoS included, but Platipus, MegaDog, Pier Pressure etc), i would not put comments into a review such as 'shove your website up your ass'.......you dig? And no, just joined and not read a whole load of posts, just posted in a manner that I'm used to, maybe too much of a promoter, so apologies offered...maybe you should have pm'ed me instead...
djalixir
also, this is not a personal dig at you, but i have played many countries worldwide (mainly techno, acid house and trance) and not everybody's idea of a UK floor filler (fridge brixton etc) is what you may think, there are many clubs worldwide that regard certain types of trance as 'floor fillers'.....open your mind up a bit mate =) different sets work for different clubs, you have to change your set on the fly and judge the crowd.....one place i played in singapore loved the mainstream trance but found lil louis's 'Kiss' the big track of the whole night...

i know its on its arse these days , But as an amature producer i want people into the same type of music to review, but this section has been full of recently i.e Artists posting releases with posters and , purely not for feedback but for blatent advertising and as a reason noone visits this forum section area anymore.

djalixir
yeah i know the score mate, and it's why i stuck in the original comment about bittorrent, i'm using it legally, but there's so many studios i know downloading the £500 version of cubase i paid for and Kontakt etc which really pisses me off, so I'm quite heavy handed when it comes down to voicing my concerns.....what i posted up is not spam and it's not a marketing scam, I just thought that people might enjoy the track and I have no use for it......sorry if I came across as heavy handed and I know the score when it comes down to being an amateur producer, I've been doing this since 1990, when Atari STs were the in thing and hard disk recording did not exist.....all I can say is my way in was to start reviewing for major labels, I was lucky enough that the website in Hong Kong was an untapped source for the dance market, and the more promoters I met, the more dissuaded I became from being a part of the whole industry, I've gone through all parts of it and it ain't pretty! I had an idea that if all producers were audited before they released tracks (ie they owned all their software, samples, kit) that the industry wouldn't be so saturated......when I built my first studio, a gig of ram cost me £1000 (there was a worldwide shortage!) and my Mac was £1500....I was lucky enough to find someone else who had all the outboard kit to set the studio up in the first place! But as I said, if you go to www.myspace.com/possiblyinfectedtheband you'll find that I'm doing something other than trance and it's going very well.....it's a hit or miss market, you really need to know someone, it's that age old trick where people that do make it make leeway for all their mates, whether the tunes are no good or not, I've reviewed some real bad tracks and had to make them sound good under pressure from record labels, it's not a good thing to do, but again, I fell foul to the money.......not a mistake i intend to make in the future......
adi_hanson
