no sorry, they take your camera at Space and they do a pretty thorough body check as you enter that club. wish i did though.
thank you guys for the nice comments, really this review barely scratches the surface of the fun and experiences that i had. i only wish that i could have gone to Ibiza a few years ago to experience the madness that it was before all these other rules and regulations were put upon the clubs there. although, i may really have returned in a body bag knowing me and the way i like to party, once i'm there and having fun, i don't like to stop, lol :crazy:
atleast with the new time restrictions, it kinda forces you to stop and rest before going back at it. |

First, I just want to say thanks for letting us live vicariously through your travel. Second, what time restrictions are you referring to? I was there in summer of 2006 and did not experience any restrictions or pat downs anywhere on the island. The only place they checked you for cameras or anything was at Privilege.
I'm heading back next summer and am really looking forward to going again. Does anyone know what are the major differences are between 2006 and now? |

In a nutshell the old afterhours does not exist anymore as new regulations require clubs to open no earlier than 430pm. This only affects Space and DC10, so unless you're only going to Ibiza for Matinee, We Love or Circo Loco you should be fine. Its probably better this way since people now have a chance to rest up a bit. |

You laid out what was perhaps the best Ibiza review I have read thus far. Really makes us "never been" people want to go even more! If things pan out right, then next year shall be the year to go! |

Nice review, very honest and positive.
Isn’t the sound system at Space amazing? The best system I’ve ever heard – I get chills just thinking about it. DC10’s isn’t too shabby either.
Sander’s night at Pacha blows compared to Morillo’s. My first experience at Pacha was on Sander’s night, and aside from the nice dinner I had beforehand, the night was only so so for the same reasons you mentioned. Went there again a few days later for Morillo when the entire club was opened up (several areas of roof, side rooms, balconies) and the experience was completely different – one of the best club nights ever. |

I went while i was there, Tiesto and sander van doorn. hands down the worst night of the entire trip. |

aww thank you!!!! again, my words are just a fraction of what i really felt and experienced. just go, you'll understand. but i have feeling clubbing in Europe in general probably feels like that. we were in barcelona first and i went to pacha there which i really liked, loved in fact, really a cool club and then la terrazza, beautiful outdoor club in an old spanish mission. simply amazing!!!! saw timo maas there, he threw down a really great set!!!
again guys, thank you for the kind words, glad i had the opportunity to share my experience with all of you.
and yeah, my little pet A.J. is over there now, touring with the above and beyond boys, poor him :rolleyes: lol!!! can't wait to hear about his adventures. we talked before i left and we're bummed that our dates missed each others, much like i was bummed that i missed raoul's(hypersky) and josh's dates!!! oh well, there are other summers :p |
