You can not find a common denominator regarding to the music they play, therefore sales has nothing to do with music being good or bad.
The best way we can appreciate music it's by incinerating any prejudice (by your statement this seems to be if something is famous or not) we might have about it.
I can not do that for anyone, it's a personal growth.

My personal view of Deadmau5 Music.
I first listened to Faxing Berling last year, and the song was cool, I enjoyed it, so I wanted to know more about the music Deadmau5 make.
Then I got bored beacuse all songs sounded similar to Faxing Berlin, I really los my interest on it.
I don't understand why some people here keep listening to Deadmau5 Music when they don't enjoy it.
When I see a Deadmau5 track I just won't listen to it beacuse I know what to expect, probably I will listen to a song made by him once a year to see if he has stop faxing every song around.
Advice to Deadmau5
Stop faxing everything you touch.
Incinarate your fax machine.
buy a cell phone
and give us a call

Being famous or not has nothing to do with the reason why TA's dislike Deadmau5.
Like you said, there's internationally known, chart topping bands out there who keep making AMAZING music (ie - Radiohead).
Deadmau5 could be as underground as the rat holes he's from and I would still think his music is . I just wouldn't have to be reminded of it as much... |
