I'd be insulted if I thought that was true, thankfully it's painfully obvious when someone just isn't smart enough to respond with anything but insults.

You are a dime a dozen my friend, and fine company you keep at that - I'm sure ISQuare, DOOMBOT, and AGQ salute you, that is provided you actually aren't any of them.

What on earth could have made you think this Robert? Everyone else on here who actually counts has known otherwise ever since the attention seeking little cretin signed up.

Wow, is that really the line you want to take here? That all areas of the Earth are equally at risk for catastrophic natural disasters?

:conf:

I've never really thought you were a complete idiot, but if this is really the argument you want to make here, I think the deal has been sealed. You really have no business in the sciences whatsoever if common logic relating to statistical probability means nothing to you, and it's a shame they actually give degrees to people like you.

You might just be the epitome of what happens when standards in education are lowered to dangerous levels.

get off your pedastool. when you get a meteorology degree, then come to talk to me.

i would also like to point out, because i didn't read any of the other posts until after i replied to that one, that I am NOT pickles.

at any rate, so far so good in New Orleans. the collapsing eyewall kinda helped the situation further inland as well. looks like its headed for shreveport too. rainy and breezy, whoopee!

If getting a meteorology degree would turn me into a closeted homosexual who can't grasp even the simplest of concepts, then I'll pass, thanks.

:)

I much prefer common sense.

If you're stupid enough to be in the ocean when a hurricane is nearby, then eh, your own fault.
