richie plays alot better on his own imo. i've seen him twice, the first time it was inside this empty parking lot, it was insane but the cops came up and said to him that he had to stop playing because of the 2am curfew and he decided to go on for about 30 more minutes, mind blowing and then he got pissed and slided the fader in disgust, walked away quickly all pissed and .
so, i'm expecting controversy today. richie hawtin and texas is an odd pairing, but so is Dave and Jake, so we'll see. |

Who is opening? God, just that alone will piss him off. Because he does pay attention to warm up djs, god i can only hope the crowd will get into it and he'll get into the crowd's vibe and . |

Some guys from Austin I've never heard of. I don't even think they're techno DJs. However there are well known DJs who specialize only in Techno on the lineup who have even put out some good records, but they're not opening up or playing in the main room. |

Word this is fkd. The really ty thing is that this scene bullshit could very well affect the extent to which Richie and the crowd interact and how well. I can get over the organisers booking the wrong talent to open but not if it adversely affects the main reason I'm going. |
