I went out for beers with a friend last night and he was telling me this. It was suppose to hit today, has it?
They haven't even rebuilt from the last one in 2005 (I think) |

That blows.
Although, no one is to blame but themselves for staying there and experiencing mother nature's awful side a second time around. New Orleans is at and below sea level so to want to rebuild an entire area for it to happen again...was pointless. I had family in St. Bernard and the smartest thing they did was GTFO after Katrina..and not go back. |

Saw this on the news yesterday. Terrible :(
They just buried the final unclaimed body from Katrina last week too, marking the 3yr anniversary. |
