"I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell" by Tucker Max...

There's some really hilarious moments. After a while it gets pretty repetitive but it's worth it for the 100 or so pages that are really entertaining

Stories from the Rwandan genocide era. Very well-written with an intensive background of how the country's severe problems came about....as well as personal tales of the trauma that went about during that time. Combo of political/historical/personal. Tons of awards won for this book, and for good reason.

"Stiff" by Mary Roach -- Great non-fiction about the history of cadavers and anatomy. Sounds like a snore, but it's really funny and dark, and totally fascinating.

The Five People You Meet in Heaven vy Mitch Albom. It's a quick easy read, can finish it in 2-3 days... go for it

this book isn't that recent but it's the only book at college i read 3 times. the title makes it seem a little over the top but it's straight information about globalization

this other book i read is like 650 pages long and it took me 4 months to finish but it's definitely worth the read. it's about WW1 and WW2, not really the military parts, although like 250 pages are dedicated to this topic, but more about the ethnic tensions and problems that caused the wars. so much happened in these wars i had no clue about.

If you wanna laugh your ass off then try; My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One Night Stands - by Chelsea Handler. Most outrageous book I've ever read, and can be done in 2 days or less.
