I often walk out into the snow with flip-flops and just pajama pants and a thin t-shirt with no problem.

Yes, I can also wear a thick coat, my warmest sweater, a scarf and a ski mask when going out in summer and feel comfortable for a while. The point is that it's stupid.

Yeah, saving $2-5 and a hassle with bull at the end of the night is stupid. Okay.

I don't know what the norm is for the rest of you fags, but I usually hit about 5 or 6 pubs and bars before heading off to the 'main' club of the night. I can't be ed dealing with a cloakroom 5 or 6 times. Especially when pubs don't even ing have them, and even more so when I don't even notice it's cold when I'm faced.

My ex used to make me laugh though - She'd just randomly chuck her coat somewhere in the first place we went, like under a couch or behind a curtain, and then come back for it at the end of the night. I of course used to rip into her for doing it.

well i've lived in both climates, although my long, snowy winters in japan were definitely a long time ago (15-17) so it's been a while.

i will tell you one thing though...you people bitch about the cold, but it really does suck living in a damn jungle...especially around the holidays. it's so sticky and muggy. baby powder is like a necessity for me so my ass crack doesn't turn into swamp butt lol. it is so hot and humid down here. i swear after just walking out of my apartment and down the stairs and getting into my car, i literally have a wet sweaty back and feel like i need a shower again. that gets old fast.

i think i'd rather bundle up in some nice winter gear...not all year round, but i mean, at least have that in the fall/winter. i would appreciate summers more i think.

i was just wondering about how it is in colder cities when you go out re: the clothing situation. seems like a pain to have a big coat to deal with and keep track of.

ladies, what if it's snowing or freezing cold out and you're heading to a bar....do you wear boots still or heels and just let your toes freeze?

that's totally something i would do lol. in fact, i used to do it with my purse a lot, but i wouldn't leave it there and go to another club. i would just hide it in the club i was in so i could walk around and dance and not have to worry about it. i would keep my I.D. & visa check card/cash in my pockets if i had any or have my bf hold it. if someone took my purse, it wouldn't be the end of the world. i would just lose the purse and some lip gloss or something.

I'd rather live in the cold for 4 months than constant heat.

For shoes... why are you wearing open toes in the winter? Crazy. Stilettos are fine...your feet shouldn't get THAT cold because you shouldn't be outside for too long. This is when sexy boots come in handy. Keep you warm + you look hot.:o

I do coat check if I'm not driving to keep it in the car. I don't care having to pay 2-3$ for them to hold my coat.

A lot of girls I know have longer coats here... unless they are the type whos always wearing pants...

I often walk to a club from home, I'm downtown so it's not bad, but when it's -30 the down jacket is so necessary.
